Welcome to X-Files News!
Get ready for tomorrow's release of the last part of the 'Believers' story line of the new X-Files comic series. We won't lie to you, we already read the whole thing... multiple times, so we can assure you that you will find this next issue to be quite a collection of thrills. Especially the ending, Oh.My.God ...the ending.
We will be giving you our full review, with insights of the first five issues tomorrow, but in the meantime this is what you can expect to find in this newest release:
In the previous issue, Mulder was on his way to rescue Scully from the claws of the Acolytes, when they're both ambushed in the woods and their lives are suddenly in terrible danger. The fifth issue of 'Believers' brings answers to a few questions, but in true X-Files fashion it also opens new ones, and sets the tone for what we believe will be a great ride in the following issues.
The X-Files: Season 10 - Believers - 5 out of 5 is a story by Chris Carter and Joe Harris, art by Michael Walsh, colors by Jordie Bellaire, letters by Tom B. Long and edited by Denton J. Tipton. This issue, executive produced also by Carter, has three different covers: the regular cover by Carlos Valenzuela, the RI cover by Joe Corroney and colored by Bryan Miller and the subscription cover.
Check with your local comic book retailer for availability or better yet, make sure to pre-order so that you don't miss any of these valuable X-Files collectibles. Preordering secures not only availability but also shows the support of the fans and ensures that IDW can bring you many more issues. You can also catch the release at ComiXology.

This past weekend, X-Files fans descended on New York City to celebrate 10/13 in style. Gillian Anderson, David Duchovny, Joe Harris, and Michael Walsh were the four X-Files guests featured at New York Comic Con.
Running the 10th through the 13th, there was no shortage of Mulder and Scully at this year's convention. If you couldn't attend though, hit the jump to learn about everything XF that went down.
This past Saturday night both Gillian Anderson and David Duchovny joined a small group of X-Files fans at The Paley Center for Media in New York City. "The Truth Is Here" event celebrated the 20th anniversary of the series and delved into the history and making of the show.
Keith Uhlich from Time Out New York did a fantastic job moderating the panel. Philes in the room and those watching the live stream all had a great time hearing David and Gillian talk about their time as Mulder and Scully.
The panel covered lots of topics including the filming of the "Pilot", the work of the writers, Scully's cancer, Mulder and Scully's relationship, and beyond. In addition, each actor chose two clips from the series to be screened. Gillian's were first, and she chose an autopsy scene from "Bad Blood" followed by the end of "The Unnatural" where Mulder and Scully hit baseballs. David's scenes were next; he chose the moment in which Mulder shoots Scully in "How the Ghosts Stole Christmas" and the dance scene at the end of "The Post-Modern Prometheus".
XFN was excited to be on site for the event to live tweet and cover all that was discussed. You can check out our photos from the event on Facebook, and if you missed the live stream, watch the video of it below.

New York Comic Con has set up channels for live streaming this weekend's events all throughout the con. The X-Files panel will be live streaming today at 4PM EST. We have set up the streaming link for you directly from XFN so you don't have to move a muscle.
There are 2 channels for live streaming, however the events are not listed where they will be streaming. Channel #1 seems to be streaming all the Main Theater events which is where The X-Files panel will be located. When it gets closer to the panel, we should be able to have more accurate information about which channel they will use and will notify you. We have set up both channels for you here just in case.
If you are watching it live and would like to join fellow X-Philes online, check out our special Skype Files session.
We are just about 30 minutes til the Paley Center X-Files event starts. The Paley Center will be having a live stream you can watch here. You can also join us on a special session of Skype Files happening right now.
This is a very exciting weekend for X-Philes and we are going to report live with all the excitement.
