We all know that Chris Carter is behind the pen and paper of XF3's script maybe with the collaboration of his usual partners in crime (Frank Spotnitz, we're looking at you) ...Now, who would you want to see as director of the anticipated Mythology film? Leave your vote and comment!
Hello Philes! It's almost birthday time at XFN! In celebration of our 5th birthday, and in light of the recent Olympic Swim Team's cover version of "Call Me Maybe" and the outstanding success of the latest Tweet-A-Thon (45,357 tweets and TT in France, Germany and Australia!), we've decided to take the phile fun to a whole new level.
XFN staff are hard at work on our own cover of "Call Me Maybe," titled GREENLIGHT BABY. With lyrics by K. Andersen, vocals by our own Tiffany Devol, and a production team made up of XFN's editor-in-chief (and XFN Productions principle) Avi Quijada, LAX-Files' Erica Fraga, and XFN's Joselyn Rojas; we felt this would be a fun project to celebrate the 19th 10/13 as well as XFN's 5th birthday!
What do you need to do? Grab a video camera and film yourselves (and friends!) acting out the lyrics! How, where, or with whom you film is completely up to you, but whatever you do, the idea is to promote XF3!
See the rules as follows:
1. Submit a 30-60 second video, in the following video formats: .AVI .MPEG .MOV or .M4V
2. If you feel the need to vid the whole song do so, BUT only sections of it will be used due to
space and time constrains.
3. Sing along to the lyrics of “Greenlight Baby”. Again, dress up, call fellow philes, use your
posters, tshirts, trading cards, you name it. The funnier, the better.
The edited video and complete song will be released on October 13th!
We know that many of you have been wondering what happened to our lad Carter Fox. Some of his stops have passed by and he did not arrive at his destination. For the past 2 months we have been tracking his whereabouts to find out that apparently he has been kidnapped somewhere in between Canada and Russia. We wish this were a publicity stunt, but the truth is that Carter Fox was confiscated by the Russian Mail.
We don't want the campaign to fall short or cancelled, but we need to provide for another Carter Fox to start the trip again and that will take some time. Meanwhile, we will be contacting all the already confirmed hosts and reorganizing your dates as conveniently as we can.
Sorry again for all the inconveniences, we're very sad that the little guy suffered an ill fate!
